There is some confusion about the Saturn/GM warranty.

Can you go to any GM dealer?  Maybe.  Do you have to go to a Saturn retailer?  Maybe. 

Following is a story from Consumer Reports.  In it they say that if you have a Saturn, you are supposed to go to a Saturn retailer for warranty worrk unless it is an emergency (that is left open to interpretation) or that there is not a Saturn retailer nearby (also, open to interpretation).  They suggest you call the assistance center if you are unsure. 

The other problem is that even in the event of an emergency, will your local GM dealer work on your Saturn?  That is up in the air.
